Size:

Adults average about 1 meter. Can get up to 1.5 meters.

Distribution:

Chad, Djbouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, Somalia

Habitat

Dry savannah and semi-desert regions of east Africa up to an elevation of about 1200 meters.
